Dibbs is a Shopify app that enables merchants to offer preorders. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What data we collect

storefront From merchants (store owners)

  • circleShopify store domain and session tokens (required for app authentication)
  • circleApp settings and preferences (order tags, notification preferences, integration API keys)
  • circleProduct and variant information used to configure preorders

person From customers (store visitors)

  • circleEmail address — only when a customer voluntarily submits the "Notify Me" form
  • circleVariant ID associated with the notification signup

Storage & Security

Data is stored securely in PostgreSQL (AWS) with encryption at rest and in transit. Fly.io handles our app logic via TLS/HTTPS.

Your Rights & GDPR

Under GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to access, correction, deletion, and portability of your personal data.

Shopify Compliance

Dibbs supports all mandatory Shopify GDPR webhooks. Store data is wiped within 48 hours of app uninstallation.

No Cookies. No tracking.

Dibbs does not set any cookies on the merchant's storefront. We rely on Shopify's session management for authentication.
